Cheating: Women Are Doing it Too!

In this hub I am going to discuss the topic of cheating but I will focus this article towards cheating women.

Most of the articles you will read will discuss how men are such cheaters and you will read all the reasons as to why men cheat. This may indeed be true, but it does not take away from the fact that women are cheating at very similar rates.

How do I know this?

I am fortunate to have plenty of meaningful relationships with a lot of people from all walks of life. I am including the people that I have met professionally.

When I combine both my personal and professional life, I have a very large sample size of just what is taking place in relationships around me.

What I am seeing may be a shock to you, but I am consistently hearing the affair stories from many of my women colleagues and friends. I also hear the stories from men that are cheating with married women. It doesn't surprise me anymore when I do hear about

the wife that is cheating on their husband during lunch.

I want you to stop and think for a second. You may know women like the ones that I am writing about in your life as well.

Why are we not hearing about these cheating women in the news?

My opinion is that the tabloids realize that the majority of their market is women, so focusing on the male celebrities that are cheating will sell more magazines and get more hits on their website.

Men simply do not care as much to know that a woman cheated on their husband and they are not going to buy these magazines because of it.

All this is simply my view based on the reality that I see around me. I have never been on the site Ashley Madison, but I can bet my bottom dollar that there are plenty of female members looking to start an affair. If there weren't this huge database of women eager to cheat the site simply would not be successful and that is not the case.

What are your thoughts on this topic?

I want to be clear, I am not diminishing the fact that men are cheating at alarming rates but times have changed are they are not alone anymore.

Unless there are changes for the better in the future, the average years of marriage will continue on the downward slope.
